AddApptr Mobile Masterclass 2018

For the fifth time, AddApptr invited industry insiders to its annual Mobile Masterclass on 8 November 2018. The event has become a popular networking evening in the industry.

Insight on mobile advertising and apps was shared during three very different presentations.

Patrick Kollmann, CEO and founder of AddApptr, demonstrated a hybrid solution that app publishers use to achieve the most successful monetization. A perfect combination could be Google Exchange Bidding, AddApptr’s MAYO (Machine learning automated yield optimization), direct deals and a blend of various ad networks.

For app publishers, it is not expedient to rely on just one channel for monetization. The strategy of combining numerous offers individually usually offers the best results,” Patrick Kollmann summarized the presentation.

Dr. Frank Eickmeier of Unverzagt von Have shared initial findings and experiences since the passing of the GDPR with attendees.

Marko Žulj of Google spoke on the latest trend – “hyper-casual games” – and explained why this type of game is particularly well-suited for ad monetization.

Attendees exchanged ideas in a casual setting over a buffet and drinks well into the night.
